Artists in Residence

Justin Daniel Perlman, is an award winning sculptor living in Sherman, CT.  He has work in numerous private collections and his work can be viewed in public at the Madison Sculpture Mile in Madison, CT, through the Hollycroft Foundation, the John Ielpi Memorial Park in Great Neck, LI, and on the grounds of the Governors mansion as part of a rotating exhibition in 2013.  He is currently an Artist in Residence at the Ridgefield Guild of Artist, where he is engaged in outreach in the form of artistic collaborations with the Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance, the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra, and fellow Artist in Residence, Adelka Polak.  Recently Justin has been made a full member of the Audubon Artists Inc of New York, and elected to membership in the Salmagundi Art Club.  Justin Is also listed in the Marquis Who’s Who in American art.

Adelka Polak is on the Teaching Faculty at Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance.  She was an Invited Guest Movement Artist at Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra, a 2011 grant recipient of award from The Puffin Foundation Ltd..  She is a member of Puppeteers of America, Inc., a member of UNIMA-USA, Inc. (-featured puppeteer in Puppetry International’s issue “40 under 40” noting young masters around the globe) and a former performing artist for Peach Orchard, Inc. producing MASQUE theatre.  Adelka has performed at dozens of non profits theaters and is a fitness instructor at JCC in Sherman.
