SATURDAY CHILDREN CLASSES
WITH CAROLE MILLER
                          

Traditional Drawing & Painting for Ages 7-12
Young students will explore the joys of traditional drawing and painting with pencil,
charcoal, oil crayon and watercolor.  Lessons in light and shadow, perspective, color
blending and simplified painting techniques are included.  Work by the Old Masters
will be introduced and applied in this intensive fine arts course.  
Supplies needed: HB pencil, kneaded eraser, 3 charcoal pencils (hard, medium &soft),
a set of 25 Oil crayons (craypas), watercolor, 11x14 approx. size multi-purpose sketch
pad book.

Classes meet on Saturdays for 8 weeks beginning on September 20th from 11:00 - 1:00pm

Fee is $160 for members and $208 for non-members.
                

Teen Traditional Drawing and Painting for Ages 12-18
Teens desiring to explore drawing and painting will benefit and find new areas for advancement in this Fine Arts art class.  Traditionally taught there will be an emphasis
on drawing techniques advancing to all mediums. Individually taught at the student’s
level, using still life and figures.
Supplies needed: HB pencil, kneaded eraser, 3 charcoal pencils (hard, medium & soft), set of 25 Oil crayons (craypas), 11x14 approx. size multi-purpose sketch pad book, watercolor set, watercolor paint brushes.

Fee is $240 for member and $312 for non-members.

On-going sessions

For the benefit of all area artists, members and non-members, this is an open, ongoing, year-round studio session.  No instruction is provided.  Top area models are utilized; session attendees determine the length of poses.
