Thanks to everyone who entered the Guild’s 42nd Annual Juried Exhibition, taking the opportunity to have your work seen by our juror, Fred Giampietro of Fred Giampietro Gallery in New Haven, CT. We ended up with over 400 pieces of artwork! Fred selected 50 pieces for the show in all. Congratulations to all who have been accepted into the show!

Artists may take home their unsold works at the end.

About:
Fred Giampietro opened his first gallery in 1979 in New Haven, Ct. He received his Master’s degree in classical music from Yale University the same year. In 1987 he opened a gallery in New York City at 25 E 73 St., which he maintained for several years.
The Fred Giampietro Gallery currently seeks out extraordinary works of art by emerging and mid-career artists that exhibit a directness and clarity of vision, uniqueness of interpretation and an underlying historical lineage. The program includes representation of emerging and established contemporary and self-taught artists as well as a significant presence in the outsider and folk-art secondary market.
The Fred Giampietro Gallery currently is located at 1064 Chapel ST, New Haven, showcasing about 10 shows per year. In addition, the Gallery exhibits at art fairs, including; the Outsider Art Fair, Volta and Art Untitled.

- Drop Off of Accepted Works: Friday, September 13, 2 – 4pm and Saturday, September 14, 2 – 4 pm
- Opening Reception: Saturday, September 21, 4 – 6 pm
- Final View and closing: Sunday, October 20, 2 – 4. Work may be picked up from 4- 4:30pm.
- Pick-up of all unsold work*: Sunday, October 20, 4-4:30pm, Monday, October 21, 2-4pm and Tuesday, October 22, 5 -7pm.
*All work must be picked up during regular pick-up hours or a $20 late fee will be applied. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you cannot make these pick-up times, please make arrangements with a friend or family member to pick up your work for you within the time frames given. The Guild cannot be responsible for works left behind.
