Slimy Science with Kristin Quell-Garguilo — Elementary (grades 3-5) Mondays 5:15-6:15pm $ 90 Members $110 Non-Members

Let’s make some slime! Experiment and practice measuring while making a new type of slime every day. We will run experiments with our slime creations, make crafts with leftover materials, and play with other kitchen chemistry actives. We will make Fluffy Slime, Glitter Slime, Soap Slime and so much more.

Figure Drawing with Tania Henderson – Elementary (grades 3-5) Tuesdays 5-6pm $ 126 members $154 for non-members

Learn to draw people using basic shapes, proportion, perspective, and anatomy. Practice in class by studying characters, creating self portraits, and drawing classmates. Extra time will be dedicated to drawing portraits, facial expressions, clothing, hands, and hair. No experience or special drawing talent required. Individual goals and styles are encouraged.

Instructor Laura McCormick will plan weekly projects where students are encouraged to explore a wide variety of art styles and techniques. The class will work with watercolor, pastel, charcoal, and acrylics, all the while strengthening both their artistic skills and their understanding of art.

Drawing and Painting with Tara Tomaselli – Thursdays 5-6pm – Grades 3-5 $ 144 members / $176 for non-members

Create 2-dimensional works while learning both drawing and painting techniques. Instructor-guided projects can include still life, landscape, portrait, figure, abstraction and more. Work with a variety of materials including: pen, pencil, colored pencil, marker, pastel, watercolor and acrylic. Recommended for grades 3-5.
