All forms of image capture are accepted.  We encourage all photographic arts from the most traditional to the least conventional. We welcome all formats – b/w or color, film or digital, photo collage, montage, and videos.

Juror: Paula Tognarelli recently retired as a cultural administrator and curator, working as the Executive Director of the Griffin Museum of Photography producing on average 54 exhibitions a year. She frequently reviewed at national and local portfolio events and jumpstarted hundreds of photographers’ careers. She holds an M.S. in Arts Administration from Boston University, BA from Regis College, is a graduate of the New England School of Photography and may or may not complete her never-ending journey for her Master’s in Education from Lesley University. 

 

This IS a juried show.

This show is open to members and non-members.

All work MUST be hand-delivered.

All work MUST be for sale.

Notification of accepted works:

 Saturday, February 4th

Drop Off: 

Friday, February 17 from 2 to 4pm

Saturday, February 18 from 2 to 4pm

Opening:

Saturday, February 25 from 4 to 6pm

Last Viewing:

Sunday, March 26 from 12 to 4pm

Pick-up of all unsold work*:

      Sunday, March 26 from 4 to 5pm

      Monday, March 27 from 2 to 4pm

*A $20 late fee will be applied for works of art not picked up by 3/27/23. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you cannot pickup on time please make arrangements with a friend or family member to pick up your work for you. The Guild cannot be responsible for works left behind.

Entry Fees:

The show is open to all artists aged 16 and older. 

$20 for 1st plus $10 for each up to a maximum of 6 total for members and $30 plus $10 for each up to a maximum of 6 total for non-members.

Artists may submit up to 6 works.

Non-members wishing to join must do so prior to submitting their entries by going to https://rgoa.org/join-renew/.

Fees are nonrefundable and payable to RGA.

Prospectus 

Submission Guidelines:

The Ridgefield Guild will only accept submissions through EntryThingy.com.

Photos must be uploaded in .jpg format. The maximum file size is 5mb. The minimum file size is 500kb and the minimum image width is 500 px.

Please make sure your information, including prices is correct at the time of submission. NO changes will be allowed once the submission process closes.

All work must be hand delivered to and picked up from the Guild. No mailed-in work will be accepted.

Guidelines for Artwork:

All forms of image capture are accepted are welcome.

Wall hung work can be up to 60” x 60”.

Any unsafe, non-professional framing, or presentation will not be accepted.  

All work must be for sale. 

Newer works only please, nothing created prior to 2018 and nothing previously shown in the RGA galleries.

For the Artists:

All work must be hand delivered within the drop off periods. No work will be accepted after the time periods are over.  No work will be accepted by mail.

RGOA Acceptance Policies:

We reserve the right to refuse any accepted entries that are:

1) improperly framed and/or not wired.

2) were misrepresented in the photo submission. 

Sales and Indemnity:

1) Sales Commission: 60% to artist, 40% to RGA. 

2) The Ridgefield Guild of Artists (RGA) agrees to handle all exhibitors’ work with care and caution; however, RGA is not responsible for damage to, or theft of any work brought for exhibit or left at the Guild after the duration of the show.  

3) By submitting online, you agree to RGA’s terms and conditions which is required for participation in an RGA exhibit. 

4) Sale of any work that has hung in the gallery as a part of this exhibition must be processed through the Guild for a period of 60 days following the conclusion of the show if the buyer saw the work during the exhibition.
