Explore the expressive side of landscape painting through acrylics. In this class, students will transform mountains, skies, water, and natural forms into loose, abstract compositions. Starting with a reference photo, students will learn to develop shapes and color blocks, use complementary colors to create impact, and use a variety of tools to make textures and layers. Come ready to experiment and create your own interpretation of the landscape.

All levels are welcome. This class is perfect for those who are new to abstract painting, those who wish to experiment with looser techniques, and experienced abstract artists who are looking for camaraderie and inspiration.

Materials list supplied upon registration for those new to acrylics.
