Instructor Laura McCormick will plan weekly projects where students are encouraged to explore a wide variety of art styles and techniques. The class will work with watercolor, pastel, charcoal, and acrylics, all the while strengthening both their artistic skills and their understanding of art. Each student is encouraged to work at their own level and stretch their imagination in a relaxed and fun environment. Recommended for grades 3-5.

Laura McCormick is a local artist that has been teaching others the joy of art for more than 15 years. She used her background in the printing industry and her degree in graphic design to develop her realistic style of portraiture. Her work has won many awards and can be found in private collections all over the country. Laura’s encouraging manner and relaxed teaching style has cultivated skills in all ages.
