Come and learn the fundamentals of drawing and painting. Artists will learn techniques for creating realistic works of art as well as experimenting with different materials. Students will use everything from pencils to paint. This is a class designed for students interested in developing their artistic skills and creative expression.

Alison Anderson has lived and worked in Ridgefield for the past six years. Currently, she teaches elementary art at Barlow Mountain and Veterans Park. As an artist, Alison enjoys making meaningful art out of all different types of media. Whether it is a coffee mug, designed to fit in someone special’s hand or a drawing of a cherished loved one – it always is rooted in an intimate interaction and an expression of nurturing. Art connects and it heals.
