Jesse Navarra is an illustrator and designer who received his MFA from Western Connecticut State University with a concentration in Illustration.  He works in a variety of mediums including acrylic paint, graphite, colored pencils, airbrush, and ink.  Using his love of pop culture and the connections its forged between friends and family, he focuses on portraiture.  Recently he’s been painting portraits of people to show the change in “normal” during the pandemic while also painting birds he’s been studying while social distancing.  He’s taught at the college level and worked in a sign shop doing designs for the last 2 years.
