Character design is an integral part of visual media. From video games, to movies, to comics, if the character is not recognizable, then the media suffers. This class for teens will break down the character design process, and encourage kids to create their own unique characters. Using traditional art media, campers will be able to express their own creativity and design characters to use for future artistic projects.  The class will explore different character styles like manga, anime and well known characters.

About Izzy:

Isabelle Abramson is a graduate from the School of Visual Arts in NYC. She graduated with a BFA in Comics, and specializes in sequential visual storytelling, fantasy and long-form stories such as graphic novels and long-running series.
