From sketching their ideas to using different types of air drying and polymer clay, the students will create a series of characters full of charm, personality and humor. Imagination will have no boundaries in this class, as I will help the kids to achieve their visions. We will learn to create the concept of our characters, create a “360 degree view” of their sides on paper, and then create a wire armature and stand, before applying the clay. I will encourage the use of recycled material, props and anything that will make our characters unique and special. As our pieces get ready, we will finish them up with paint.
