Did you know that comics have been around, as a unique way to tell a story, since the 19th century? 

Sequential visual storytelling has captivated readers with relatable characters, fantastical worlds, and powerful story elements. In this class, teens will learn the foundations of writing, scripting, and pencilling comics. They will design characters, compose a story and draw it out in their own unique way, expressing their individual creativity.

About Izzy:

Isabelle Abramson is a graduate from the School of Visual Arts in NYC. She graduated with a BFA in Comics, and specializes in sequential visual storytelling, fantasy and long-form stories such as graphic novels and long-running series.
