The art of mask, puppetry and dance comes to life through creations of our favorite animals.  The various mediums of art come together to make the process of creation uplifting and active, moving from the studio table to stage.

Adelka Polak is the founder and Artistic Director of SOVA Dance and Puppet Theater. She is a dancer, puppeteer, mask-performer and movement director. She has performed around the world, including Lincoln Center Outdoors and LaMama, E.T.C. Locally, she has performed with the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra and the Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance. She also works at Western Connecticut State University’s Theater Department.
