Join us for an ateleir style class with a focus on helping artists return to and complete unfinished work. Participants may bring any works in progress they may feel stuck on, in whatever painting medium they use.
These 4 sessions will help the artist progress toward a finished piece, and gain clarity and confidence moving forward. In addition to camaraderie, students will get insight from both the instructor and fellow artists.
Support includes:
- Materials and technique guidance
- Composition and color support
- Help with finishing and presentation decisions, including framing
Class structure:
- Open work time with individualized feedback
- Instructor support throughout
Critique:
- Group critique and discussion at the end
- Peer feedback and collaborative problem solving
About Nicole: Nicole Bricker is a Redding based artist and curator whose work explores memory, materiality, and cultural storytelling through painting, collage and sculptural assemblage. She is the founder and director of Anonymous Society, a gallery committed to experimentation and creative exchange.
