The Art of Letting Go- Two dates to choose from!

Explore your inner self and discover a lighter, more fulfilling future by using art as a release.

In this workshop, we will explore, learn and release your inner spirit through art and self-discovery. You will learn to let go of self-doubt and connect with yourself, nurturing your creativity through this process. By exploring all that’s within you, you will find your freedom of expression and trust your instincts. 

This class is intended for women who are new to painting. It will guide you to find your inner voice, your strength, confidence and unique style through intuitive painting and abstract expressionism.  

There is no judgment in this class, only supporting each other through this experience and wonderful journey. 

All materials included, just bring yourself and a desire to open up and explore!

Level: Beginner-Intermediate

Limited to 8 students.

Melissa Benedek is a native New Yorker who grew up amongst the art scene in New York City.  She was introduced to art at an early age.  Her father owned an art gallery in SoHo, New York City and her mother was an Interior Designer, who also curated art shows. Melissa received her BA from the University of Hartford and studied at the Arts Students League and Parsons School of Design in New York City.
Melissa is a Contemporary Artist whose work is focused on Abstract Expressionism.  Her portfolio demonstrates her vision and passion for colors and movement.  She is guided by her intuition.  Her work is known for her beautiful color combinations and fluid brushstrokes that intersect, overlap and react with one another, until they unite into a wonderful rhythm.  
Melissa Benedek has been featured in various publications and has done several commissions, including one for an ABC News Anchor, in New York.  She exhibits in numerous galleries and exhibitions, including The Hamptons Fine Art Fair.
