Art makes a wonderful gift—and the holiday season is the perfect time to share it!
Now in its 17th year, Festive Home 2026 is the Ridgefield Guild of Artists’ eclectic holiday shopping event, celebrating artists and artisans who create unique, handcrafted, and one-of-a-kind works.
For one month, the gallery is transformed into a festive shopping emporium, with local designers creating beautiful holiday vignettes throughout the space. This year’s theme, COLORS OF THE SEASON, invites artists to embrace the full spectrum of holiday color and creativity.
Showcase your work and inspire holiday shoppers looking for something truly special!
Important Dates:
Deadline to Apply: Saturday, October 17th by 11:59pm
Notification of Accepted Works: Saturday October 24th
Drop Off Work: Saturday, November 7th from 2 to 4pm and Sunday, November 8th from 2 to 4pm
Opening Preview Party: Friday, November 13th from 5 to 7pm ($25 per ticket)
Free Admission to the Public: Saturday November 14th 11am
Event Closes: Sunday, December 13th at 5pm
Pick-up of all unsold work*: Wednesday December 16th from 2 to 4pm and Thursday December 17th from 5-7pm
*A late fee will be applied for all items not picked up by December 17th. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you cannot pick-up on time, please make arrangements with a friend or family member to pick up your work for you. The Guild cannot be responsible for works left behind and we are not responsible for any loss or theft of items not picked up on time. By applying to this show, you agree to this pick up criteria.
Eligibility:
This show is open to members only. Artists 16 and older are eligible to enter. Original works are accepted in all media but must be able to hang on a wall. Work should have been created within the past 5 years and never previously exhibited at the Guild.
Entry to Festive Home is a juried process and for members only.
Please note: This call for artists is only for 2Dwall hung works (photography, painting, mixed media, etc) and does not include handcrafted items – jewelry, soap, ceramics, etc. Separate calls for artisans & artists are posted. If you plan to submit to both, you must do so separately.

All fees are payable by credit card. Once you have entered there are no refunds and no changes can be made to your submission.
SPECIFICATIONS
Submission Guidelines:
All submissions must be entered via our website (link)
You may submit up to 4 images.
Wall hung work can be 36” inches or smaller in any direction. Diptychs and triptychs are sold as one piece unless the artist pays a fee for each separate part. All work must be hand delivered and picked up at the Guild, no mailed in work will be accepted.
Wall Art entries are accepted in the following formats: .jpg, .heif, .png, and .gif. Maximum file size 5MB. Please note that you must complete your submission in one go. Your work and info will not be saved if you leave the page. Please make sure your information is correct at the time of submission. Changes will not be allowed once the submission process closes.
Guidelines for Artwork, Delivery & Pick Up:
All work must be able to hang on a wall. Wall hung work must be 36in or smaller in any direction.
Wall hung work must be securely wired with braided wire (unless there is an artistic reason to use another method) and ready for safe hanging. NO saw-tooth hangers. Any unsafe, non-professional framing, damaged framing, or presentation will not be accepted.
All work must be hand delivered. No work will be accepted after the drop off period. No work will be accepted by mail. All work must remain for the total duration of the show and may not be removed for any reason. Please identify each work with a label/paper affixed to the back with your name, title, and contact information.
All work must be collected during the pick-up period. If you cannot be there during those times, please arrange for someone to pick it up for you. No Exceptions. Work left will incur a $20 late fee. The Guild cannot be responsible for work left behind.
RGOA Policies/Sales and Indemnity:
We reserve the right to refuse any accepted entries that are:
1) improperly framed or not wired ready for hanging.
2) were misrepresented in the photo submission.
Terms:
1) Sales Commission: 60% to artist, 40% to RGA.
2) The Ridgefield Guild of Artists (RGA) agrees to handle all exhibitors’ work with care and caution; however, RGA is not responsible for damage to, or theft of any work brought for exhibit or left at the Guild after the duration of the show.
3) By submitting online, you agree to RGA’s terms and conditions, which is required for participation in an RGA exhibit.
4) Sale of any work that is part of this exhibition in our gallery, or work that is commissioned because of this show, must be processed through the Guild for a period of sixty days following the conclusion of the show.
