The Ridgefield Guild of Artists’
16th Annual Festive Home: Reimagined
Thank you to everyone that participated in and came to visit our holiday fundraiser – the Ridgefield Guild of Artists’ 16th Annual Festive Home…Reimagined! White gallery walls were magically transformed by many artistic and giving volunteers into a vibrant holiday showcase filled with home accents, artwork, hand-crafted and hand-selected gift items and slightly used furniture…all for sale at great prices. This year we featured a show-stopping ornament installation that welcomed all into our gallery space.
Our pop-up holiday shop included vignettes created by our own in-house committee and in partnership with our friends at the Housatonic Habitat for Humanity’s Restore, displayed upcycled furniture and home goods. Over fifty artisans’ have joined us this year with their imaginative creations, including hand-made jewelry, stationary, knitted hats, very original handbags, beautiful baskets (many made by Ghana women), glass and ceramic items, wooden signs, ornaments and much, much more.
As we have all become more mindful of conservation and unnecessary consumption, for this year’s Festive Home, we made an effort to re-use, repurpose, recycle and upcycle whatever we can, all while inspiring a creative and special holiday season.
Until next year!
