About the Exhibit: 

We at the Guild know hand-made items make the best gifts, and what better time to give than the holiday season! Ridgefield Guild of Artists presents Festive Home 2023 to showcase your artistic talents during this gift-giving season, in hopes your works will inspire those in search of that creative and one-of-a-kind gift.  

Please note that there are two separate calls for Art for festive home. One is for artisans and hand-crafted items, and the other is for wall art. Each call is listed below, and the EntryThingy link is located at the bottom of this page.

 

 

THIS CALL IS FOR ARTISANS, HAND-CRAFTED ITEMS, NO WALL ART. 

Calling all artisans of hand-crafted items…. jewelry, knitwear, ceramics, wood items, ornaments, soap, fiber, and more! If it is hand-crafted, we want to see it! 

Please submit up to 10 images showcasing your work. We realize actual items delivered may differ. 

Instructions for labels for your items will be provided upon acceptance to the show.  Acceptances are on a rolling basis.

All work that is sold may be taken immediately by the buyer.

This show is open to members and non-members. 
All work must be hand-delivered. 
Entry into the show IS a juried process.  Artisan admission results into the show will be on a rolling basis.

Deadline to Apply Online through EntryThingy.com: Saturday, October 21st 11:59pm. Please scroll down.

Non-members wishing to join must do so prior to submitting their entries by going to https://rgoa.org/join-renew/. 
Fees are nonrefundable and payable to RGA. 
• List of Accepted: ON A ROLLING BASIS but no later than Saturday, October 28th
• Drop Off BY APPOINTMENT: Saturday, November 4, 2-4pm and Sunday, November 5, 2-4pm 
• Opening Preview Party: Friday, November 17 from 4 to 6pm 
• Event Closing: Sunday, December 17, 5pm 
• Pick-up of all unsold work*: Tuesday, December 19, 2-4pm and Wednesday, December 20, 2-4pm. Given the holiday week, other arrangements may be made by appointment. 

*A $20 late fee will be applied for all items not picked up by 1/3/23. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you cannot pickup on time. Please make arrangements with a friend or family member to pick up your work for you. The Guild cannot be responsible for works left behind. 

 

Entry/Fees: 
The show is open to all artisans age 16 and older. Artisans may submit up to 10 photos per entry of the types of items for sale. 

Members: $25 per entry
Non-Members: $35 per entry
Fees payable by credit card via EntryThingy.

RGOA Polices/Sales and Indemnity: 

Sales commission is 70% to the artist and 30% to the Ridgefield Guild of Artists (RGA). The Guild will collect tax.

 

 

THIS CALL IS FOR WALL ART, NOT HAND-CRAFTED ITEMS.
Calling all artists to submit up to 4 pieces of artwork for consideration in our annual Festive
Home event.
Submit for consideration either two larger pieces up to 64 inches (including any framing)
and two smaller pieces, 24 x 24 or smaller
OR
Submit 4 small works 24 x 24 and smaller.
Either 2 large/2 small or 4 small.
Four pieces total may be submitted.
2D wall art works in all mediums are welcome.
Works sold may be taken on the spot.
