BEDLAM IS BACK AND IN THE GALLERY! ARE WE CRAZY? Maybe…but IT IS BEDLAM! It’s always a hoot, and after this past year, we all could use a good time!
Please join us for our 10th annual Bedlam show, where anything goes! For this show, you, the artist, hang your own artwork anywhere in the gallery at any height, sideways or even upside down (all while masked and practicing social distancing, of course). We supply the hammers and nails. Hanging this way is meant to cause a creative BEDLAM…a fun and carefree way of showing your work, always enticing good conversation.
ENTRY FEES
Members ONLY: $10 per piece.
EASY BREEZY INSTRUCTIONS
Come to Ridgefield Guild of Artists for receiving on Friday, June 25 from 4-6pm or Saturday, June 26, from 1-4pm. Fill out an entry form and wall tag for each piece, grab a hammer and nail, and hang it up on the wall. That’s where the bedlam begins! No equipment is necessary – the Guild has lots of tools and stepladders. We may limit the number of artists into the gallery at any one time to keep things safe.
IMPORTANT DATES
Receiving/Hanging: Friday, June 25, 4-6pm and Saturday, June 26, 1-4pm
Opening Out on the Patio (weather permitting): Saturday, June 26, 4-6pm
Exhibition run: Saturday, June 26 to Sunday, July 11
Pickup: Monday, July 12, 5-7pm and Tuesday, July 13, 2-4pm
$20 late fee for all work not picked up on time.
DETAILS
Bring your pieces ready to be installed by you!
Any size work accepted…large, small and anything in between, including diptychs and triptychs.
Works must be wired and ready to hang in a secure, professional manner.
The show is open to RGA members 16 years of age and older. Memberships may be renewed during receiving. New members will be accepted at receiving and will be eligible to enter the show. Annual membership fee is $55 and $30 for seniors (65+) and students (16-21). See rgoa.org membership page for all membership details.
All artwork must be for sale. Standard 40% commission to RGA applies.
Submit as many pieces as you like, but not any already shown in our gallery!
Sculpture is welcome and should be secure on its base for safety reasons.
All work must stay in the galleries for the entire run of the show. No exceptions.

- SALES COMMISSION IS 60% TO THE ARTIST, 40% TO THE GUILD
- RGOA IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE OR THEFT WHILE WORK IS IN THE GALLERY
- ALL POST-EXHIBITION SALES TO ANYONE WHO VIEWED THE WORK AT THE EXHIBITION MUST BE MADE THROUGH THE GUILD FOR A 60 DAY PERIOD FOLLOWING THE END OF THE EXHIBITION
